Turbocharger Heat Shield Installation

1.

Install the 2 turbocharger heat shield spacer (1).
|
|
2.
|
Install the turbocharger heat shield (2).
|
|
3.
|
Refer to
Fastener Caution
.
Install the two bolts for the turbocharger's heat shield (3) and tighten to
10 Nm (89 lb in)
.
|
|
4.
|
Install the turbocharger heat shield nut (4) and tighten to
50 Nm (37 lb ft)
.
|
|
5.
|
Install the catalytic converter bracket (4).
|
|
6.
|
Install the nut for the catalytic converter's bracket (3) and tighten to
42 Nm (31 lb ft)
.
|
|
7.
|
Install the bolt for the catalytic converter's bracket (2) and tighten to
42 Nm (31 lb ft)
.
