Remove the engine cooling thermostat housing. Refer to Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing Replacement (LF1) Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing Replacement (LAU) .
1 Bolt (Qty: 3) Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten

10 Nm (88 lb in)
2 Engine Cooling Thermostat Gasket
3 Engine Cooling Thermostat

Procedure

• Clean the engine block and the thermostat gasket surfaces.

• Replace the gasket and any worn hoses.
