Brake and Accelerator Pedal Adjuster Switch Replacement

Removal Procedure

Refer to SIR Warning .

1.	Disable the supplemental inflatable restraint (SIR) system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .

2.	Remove the lower steering column shroud (1). Refer to Steering Column Shroud Replacement .

3.	Disconnect the brake and accelerator pedal adjuster switch electrical connector.

4.	Compress the locking tabs and remove the brake and accelerator pedal adjuster switch (1).

Installation Procedure

1.	Install the adjuster switch (1) to the steering column.

2.	Note Ensure the brake and accelerator pedal adjuster switch harness is correctly routed and secure. Connect the brake and accelerator pedal adjuster switch electrical connector.

3.	Install the lower steering column shroud (1). Refer to Steering Column Shroud Replacement .

4.	Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR disabling and enabling .
