Inspect for the proper transaxle and gear oil levels prior to performing system diagnosis. | |

Transfer case bearing or rear drive axle clutch module. A chatter or racheting type noise during hard acceleration on tight turns. | Confirm noise is coming from the transfer case or the rear drive axle clutch module. Repair if necessary. Refer to Symptoms - Rear Drive Axle . |
