Heater and Air Conditioning Evaporator Module Replacement

Preliminary Procedures

1. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (Belt Driven Compressor) .

2. Remove the heater inlet hose from the heater core tube. Refer to Heater Inlet Hose Replacement (LF1) Heater Inlet Hose Replacement (LAU) .

3. Remove the heater outlet hose from the heater core tube. Refer to Heater Outlet Hose Replacement (LF1) Heater Outlet Hose Replacement (LAU) .

4. Remove the instrument panel tie bar. Refer to Instrument Panel Tie Bar Replacement .


1 Heater and Air Conditioning Evaporator and Blower Module Fastener Refer to Fastener Caution .

Procedure

With the aid of an assistant, remove the heater and air conditioning evaporator and blower module from the vehicle.

Tighten

1.4 Nm (12 lb in)
