The adjacent illustration is an example of a workshop with a number of work bays, lifts, toolboards, etc. Depending on the design of the premises, the lifts can be positioned at a 90° or 70° angle to the wall. A 70° angle is best suited to workshops that with drive-through capabilities as this gives a good “flow” through the workshop.
For addition layout suggestions and measurement recommendations for e.g. a service and damage-repair workshop, diagnostics hall, delivery area in a Saab workshop, see the section Workshop layouts.
