Oil level, manual gearbox

Remove the level plug (2), using special tool 87 92 590. The oil should be level with the lower edge of the hole.

Oil type:

Saab synthetic manual gearbox oil, part no. 400 108 247.

Important
Saab synthetic manual gearbox oil is not miscible with other gearbox oils.

Oil capacity:

1.9 litres, “dry" gearbox.

Important
Synthetic engine oil must not be used.

All plugs, tightening torque: 50 Nm (37 lbf ft).
