Unplug the 10-pin connector on the ignition discharge module and place the connector to one side.

Unplug the sensor connector.
|

Inspect the sealing washer and fit a new one if necessary.
Apply vaseline (part no. 30 04 520) or equivalent to the sensor thread. Fit the sensor.
Tightening torque 17 Nm (12 lbf ft).

2.
|
Spray the connector with Kontakt 61 (part no. 30 04 520). Plug in the connector.

|
3.
|
Plug in the 10-pin connector to the ignition discharge module.
