EVAP shut-off valve

EVAP shut-off valve

To remove


1. Raise the car.


2. Remove the right-hand front wheel.

3. Remove the wing liner in the wheel housing. Press in the plastic wing and angle it downwards to remove it.

4. Lower the shut-off valve and unplug the connector.


5. Remove the clip and detach the connecting hose.


To fit



1. Connect the hose to the valve and fit the clip.

2. Spray the connector with Kontakt 61 (part no. 30 04 520) and plug it in.

3. Put the valve in place.

4. Position the wing liner and screw it on.


5. Fit the wheel.

Tightening torque 110 Nm (80 lbf ft).

Important

The wheel must be hanging free when tightening the wheel bolts.


6. Lower the car.
