Important | ||
To minimize remaining fuel pressure, remove fuse no. 19 while the engine is running at idling speed. Turn off the ignition once the engine has stopped. |

Unplug the connectors to the oxygen sensor and the crankshaft position sensor.

2. |
Detach the vacuum hose.
|
3. |
Undo the screw and lower the clamp.
|
4. |
Work the pressure regulator loose.
|
To fit |

Fit in reverse order.

Fit the pressure regulator.
|
2. |
Position the clamp and tighten the screw.
|
3. |
Connect the vacuum hose.
|
4. |
Plug in the connectors to the oxygen sensor and crankshaft position sensor.

5. |
Fit fuse 19.
|
6. |
Clear diagnostic trouble codes.
|
7. |
Start the engine and check for possible fuel leaks.

Important | ||
Lubricate the O-ring with acidic-free vaseline before fitting. |
