Relay, limp-home solenoid

Remove the pedal arrangement cover by undoing the 3 screws. Tilt down the cover and carefully pull it out. Pay attention to the cables for the data link connector and the lighting.

Undo the screw on the relay box.
|
|
3.
|
Tilt down the relay board.
|
|
4.
|
Carefully open the relay catch and remove the relay.
|
|

Spray the contacts on the relay board with Kontakt 61 (part no. 30 04 520) and fit the relay.

2.
|
Lift up the relay board so that the lid closes.
|
|
3.
|
Tighten the screw on the relay box.
|
|
4.
|
Reposition the cables to the data link connector and the lighting. Position the pedal arrangement cover and tighten the 3 screws and the clip.
