Spark plugs

To remove


1. Unplug the 10-pin connector from the ignition discharge module.


2. Remove the 4 screws on the ignition discharge module.

3. Remove the spark plugs.


To fit



1. Apply Molykote 1000 (part no. 30 20 971) or equivalent to the spark plug threads.

2. Apply Krytox (part no. 30 19 312) to the rubber seals.

3. Fit the spark plugs and check the electrode gap. See technical data.

Tightening torque 28 Nm (21 lbf ft).

4. Fit the 4 screws on the ignition discharge module.


Tightening torque 11 Nm (8.1 lbf ft).

5. Plug in the 10-pin connector to the ignition discharge module.
