Diagnostic help
Drive the car and activate the cruise control while checking the conditions for cruise control with the diagnostic tool. Start fault diagnosis with the condition that cannot be fulfilled.
The diagnostic tool menu has a group of readings named ”REASON CC WAS SWITCHED OFF”. The values are from the last time cruise control was working and show the reason for the cruise control being disengaged. They are stored as long as the control module is powered and are therefore suitable for diagnosing intermittent faults.

Check the wiring
Jiggle the wiring harness at several points and in different directions to check if there are intermittent breaks and short-circuits in the leads. Observe the multimeter, test lamp or diagnostic instrument during the test.
