5V supply







The following sensors are supplied with 5V from control module pins 69 and 46. The two 5V supplies are internally connected in the throttle body.


• The manifold absolute pressure sensor

• The charge air absolute pressure sensor

• The differential tank pressure sensor

• The pedal position sensors

• The throttle position sensors




Diagnostics

A short circuit in the 5V supply will put the throttle into limp-home mode and can be caused by a fault in the wiring or in a sensor powered by the 5V supply. As the two 5V supplies are internally connected in the throttle body, there will not be any symptoms if there is an open circuit on only one of them.
