Symptom: CHECK ENGINE comes on after two driving cycles.
O2S Heater Circuit. Current too High, Sensor 1.
Fault symptoms

CHECK ENGINE comes on after two driving cycles.

Conditions
The following conditions apply for this DTC:
•
|
Engine running and output voltage exceeds 2 V when output active. Conditions met for 5 s.
|
Or:
•
|
Preheating has been active for more than 60 s.
|
•
|
Current exceeds 2300 mA for 5 s.
|
Diagnostic help
Fault diagnosis concerns electrical faults in connecting cables or in the sensor.
Diagnostic tool functions related to this fault are:

Activation of output for preheating.

Check the wiring
Note

Jiggle the leads and in-line connectors at various points and in different directions to detect any intermittent breaks or short circuits in the wiring. Observe the multimeter, test lamp or diagnostic tool while doing this.
