Symptom: CHECK ENGINE comes on after two driving cycles.
Torque too low or fuel shut-off on acceleration.
Charge Air Control Valve Circuit. Open / Short to Ground.

Conditions
The following conditions apply for this DTC:
•
|
Engine running and main relay voltage exceeds 10 V.
|
•
|
Output voltage is below 2 V when the output is inactive.
|
•
|
Conditions are met for 10 periods which must occur within 60 seconds (diagnostic trouble code normally set after 0.3 seconds, but may sometimes take much longer).

Fault diagnosis concerns electrical faults in connecting cables or in the valve.

Check the wiring
Note
|
Jiggle the leads and in-line connectors at various points and in different directions to detect any intermittent breaks or short circuits in the wiring. Observe the multimeter, test lamp or diagnostic tool while doing this.
