Read the instructions below then
start the fault diagnostic procedure.
Symptom: Some of the following symptoms may perhaps be observed:
Additional diagnostic trouble codes in the Trionic (P1901, P1923 or P1908).
Additional diagnostic trouble code in the TCM (P1921).
Engine fails to start.
Cruise Control does not work.
Radio does not work.
Central locking system does not work.
Remote control does not work.
No Bus Data From TWICE. See Fault Tracing 3:5 Bus and Diagnostic Communication.

Additional diagnostic trouble codes in the Trionic (P1901, P1923 or P1908).

Additional diagnostic trouble code in the TCM (P1921).

Cruise Control does not work.

Central locking system does not work.

Remote control does not work.

Conditions
The following conditions apply for this DTC:
•

Engine running and no communication for more than 10 seconds.
|
Diagnostic help
Fault diagnosis concerns intermittent electrical faults in the power supply for the sending control module or in a bus lead.
Check the wiring
Note

Jiggle the leads and in-line connectors at various points and in different directions to detect any intermittent breaks or short circuits in the wiring. Observe the multimeter, test lamp or diagnostic tool while doing this.
