Connect Tech 2.

Make communication with the CD changer (CDC).
|

| 3. |
Select “PROGRAMMING” from the system menu.
The message “MARRIAGE/DIVORCE” is displayed. |

Press “ENTER”.
|
|
| 5. |
Select “DIVORCE” with the change key and press “OK”.
|

On removal of a CD changer (in order to install it in another car or return it under warranty for repairs) “DIVORCED” should be selected.

The sound should now go quiet and “CDC CODE” be shown on SID
|
|
| 7. |
Remove the four screws holding the CD changer.
|
|
| 8. |
Unplug the connector.

| To fit |
| 1. |
Remove the 4 transport screws (2 on each side marked in red) on the new CD changer.
|
|
| 2. |
Fit the CD changer with the four screws and plug in the connector.
|
|
| 3. |
With the Tech 2 still connected and communication made, select “PROGRAMMING” from the system menu.
The message "MARRIAGE/DIVORCE" is displayed. |

| 4. |
Press “ENTER”.
|
|
| 5. |
Select “MARRIED” with the change key and press “OK”.
|
|
| • |
On installation of a CD changer in the Saab 9-5 “MARRIED” should be selected.
|
| 6. |
“CDC CODE” will disappear from SID and the sound will return.
|

Check that the vertical/horizontal setting on the short side of the CD changer is in the vertical (V) position. |
