Fault symptoms

The following fault information is shown on the SID instrument:

•	B2770: TAPE ERR 01-04 (cassette player)

•	B2775: TAPE ERR 05 (cassette player)

•	B2800: TAPE ERR 02 (cassette player)

•	B2802: TAPE ERR 01 (cassette player)

•	B2805: TAPE ERR 03 (cassette player)

•	B2810: TAPE ERR 11 (cassette player)

•	B2815: TAPE ERR 12 (cassette player)

Conditions

B2770

Diagnostic trouble code B2770 is generated if the cassette is broken or jammed, if it does not eject or if there is mechanical failure in the cassette player.

B2775

Diagnostic trouble code B2775 is generated if the main unit detects that the tape speed deviates greatly from the nominal speed. The sound emitted is faulty.

B2800

Diagnostic trouble code B2800 is generated if the cassette is jammed, i.e., if the tape is tangled, or if there is mechanical failure in the cassette player.

B2802

Diagnostic trouble code B2802 is generated if the tape is broken or if there is a mechanical failure in the cassette player.

B2805

Diagnostic trouble code B2805 is generated if the cassette is jammed, i.e., if the tape is tangled, or if there is mechanical failure in the cassette player.

B2810

Diagnostic trouble code B2810 is generated if the cassette does not load or eject.

B2815

Diagnostic trouble code B2815 is generated if the tape head does not move correctly.
