The battery is located on the left-hand side of the engine bay with its negative terminal connected to the body. It has a protective cap to reduce heating.
Battery variants are due to market requirements and the car's equipment.
A drain hose has been introduced during this model year. It runs from the battery vent nipple, along the left-hand wiring harness and out beside the left-hand fog lamp.
