The Night Panel function in SID turns off the lighting for the upper end of the speedometer scale (above 140 km/h) under normal conditions. If vehicle speed exceeds a given level in km/h, then the lighting for the lower end of the speedometer scale will light up. This command enables alteration of the speed at which the main instrument unit lights up the upper end of the speedometer scale when Night Panel is active. The works setting is 138 km/h.
Adjustment can be checked afterwards by activating Night Panel with the diagnostic tool.
