Outdoor Temperature, Filtered
°C/°F
-40
50
The SID unit's internal filtered value for outside temperature. Filtering takes place as follows:
•
+1°C change every 6 minutes at speeds below 30 km/h.
•
+1°C change every 30 seconds at speeds above 30 km/h.
•
-1°C change every 2.5 seconds.

5.00
Voltage across the resistor in the rheostat. The voltage changes linearly from 0 V (max. rheostat level) to approx. 3.5 V (min. rheostat level).

Steering Wheel Control
Volt
0
5.00
The steering wheel buttons consist of 7 resistors connected in series and supplied with +5 V from the SID unit.
When a button is pressed, the resistor concerned is grounded, giving the relevant voltage. See
for voltage values.
For cars without steering wheel controls, the voltage value applies only to the horn switch.
