The SID unit calculates the engine off time using bus information from the Trionic “ENGINE STARTED”, unit ON/OFF, and when the ignition (+15 circuit) is turned OFF and then ON again. “ENGINE OFF TIME”, unit minutes, is used by the SID unit for the outside temperature function, etc.
The information ENGINE OFF TIME, unit minutes (max. 255 minutes) is sent out on the bus.
