Symptom: The intermittent windscreen wipers are either not working or the wipers are in constant motion.

Fault symptoms

The intermittent windscreen wipers are either not working or the wipers are in constant motion.

Conditions

The control module output is monitored and a DTC generated if there is a:

•	Break/short circuit to ground.

•	Short circuit to B+.

DTCs are not generated if the voltage is below 11 V and the diagnostic communication is in use.
