Note
|
If the car is equipped with a radio other than a Saab original radio, check that the customer has the radio code before commencing work.

Disconnect the negative battery cable.
|

Disconnect the negative battery cable.
|
2.
|
Undo the cruise control.
|
4.
|
Mark all the connectors accurately
before unplugging them from their respective components.
|
5.
|
Disconnect the cables to the grounding points on the intake manifold.
|
6.
|
Unplug the connectors to the other wiring harnesses.
|
7.
|
Carefully remove the wiring harness without damaging cable ties, etc., that are to be refitted.
|
8.
|
Lay out the new wiring harness the same as the old one and secure it in the same way. Make sure all grommets are sealing tight.
|
9.
|
Plug in the connectors to their respective components. If in doubt refer to wiring diagrams/component lists for the respective system.
|
10.
|
Plug in the connectors.
|
11.
|
Connect the ground cables.
|
12.
|
Replace the cruise control.
|
14.
|
Connect the negative battery cable. Set the clock and program the radio code where applicable.
|
Important
|
Secure the wiring harness to prevent the risk of chafing and rattling.
|
Check all rubber seals to minimize the risk of leakage.
|

Note
|
Spray all the connectors, except the oxygen sensor, with “Kontakt 61” to prevent copper rust from forming.
|
Clean all the grounding points and apply them with Vaseline.
