Fluid delivery hoses, upper/lower (4-cyl)

To remove



1. Remove the screws securing the fan cowling to the radiator.

2. Raise the car.

3. Remove the pipes' bracket from the fan cowling.

4. Lift up the fan cowling slightly.

5. Place an oil pan under the transmission to collect fluid spill.


6. Remove the banjo bolt and plug the hole.

7. Separate the hose quick-release coupling with 83 95 261 Tool, fuel line . Remove the hose.



Fitting


1. Connect the delivery hose to the delivery pipe.


Note

Change the seals in the banjo bolts.


2. Fit the banjo bolt on the transmission and tighten it.


Tightening torque: 22 Nm (16 lbf ft)

3. Fit the fan cowl into its recesses.


4. Fit the bracket on the fan cowling and tighten it.

5. Lower the car to the floor.

6. Tighten the fan cowling.

7. Fill with transmission fluid, Texaco Texamatic DEXRON III (7045 EU, TL1863 US), to the correct level.
