To remove



1. Remove the edging around the indication display.

Remove the upper part of the centre console, see group 8, Body, Climate control system, Interior equipment.

2. Snip the cable tie.

3. Press the WINTER-button out of the indication display.

4. Move the protective casing from the soldering joint on the middle lead and unsolder to remove the leads.

Note

Protect the indication display when soldering.



Fitting



1. Fasten the leads by soldering and enter the protective casing over the soldered joint.

2. Press the WINTER-button onto the indication display.

3. Fit a new cable tie through the hole in the selector lever housing and round the leads.

4. Fit the upper part of the centre console, see group 8 Body, Climate control system, Interior equipment.

Fit the edging around the indication display.
