Read the instructions below then start the fault diagnostic procedure.

Symptom: Warning lamps for ABS and brakes are on as also is the central warning lamp. TCS OFF warning lamp is on. No ABS or TCS function.

Fault symptoms

Warning lamps for ABS and brakes are on as also is the central warning lamp.

TCS OFF warning lamp is on.

No ABS or TCS function.

Conditions

DTC is set by open circuit.

Diagnostic help

•	A reading of the rear right wheel speed sensor can be obtained with the diagnostic tool.

-	Select “Read values”.

-	Select “ Wheel Speed Rear Right”.

The current wheel speed in km/h is displayed.

With the rear end of the car raised off the ground, the diagnostic tool should show a reading of about 5 km/h when the rear right wheel is rotated by hand at a speed of about 1 revolution per second.

•	For tracing electrical faults, the diagnostic tool can be used to take readings from the control module's wheel-sensor inputs.

-	Select: “Read values”

-	Select: “Wheel-sensor output”

The reading is used to determine whether the control module connection with any of the wheel sensors is missing. If connection is OK the reading should be about 3.4 V.

If connection with the rear right is not OK the reading will be about 2.1 V.
