Pedal position
Pedal position |
The Trionic has a pedal sensor which provides it with information on the position of the throttle pedal. The pedal position signal is an 8 Hz PWM which the Trionic sends to pin 12 of the TC/ABS control module.
The different pedal positions are indicated by different pulse ratios:

The TC/ABS control module uses the information on pedal position to determine the degree of wheel spin to allow during TCS modulation. The system considers the pedal position to be the degree of aggressiveness the driver requests and allows a greater degree of wheel spin the more the pedal is depressed (pedal position increases as a percentage).
