Tyres
Tyres |
If the tyre is worn unevenly or abnormally, the wheel angles must be checked and adjusted with 4-wheel alignment as described in Service Manual group 6:1, Front assembly, Steering assembly, section Wheel alignment.
The tyres have what is called wear indicators, which means that a lateral strip without tread pattern will appear when the remaining tread depth reaches 1.6mm. The tyres must then be changed.
Acquaint yourself with the national regulations that apply concerning tyre tread depth.
