Drill out the spot welds on the cross-reinforcement.

2.

Knock loose the cross-reinforcement.
|
3.
|
Grind the surfaces to be welded.
|

Apply welding primer to the surfaces to be spot and plug welded
|

Put the cross-reinforcement in place.
|
3.
|
Spot and plug weld the cross-reinforcement.
|
5.
|
Remove any remaining welding primer. Welding primer reduces adhesion of paint, filler and sealant.
|
6.
|
Apply primer to all bare metal surfaces.
|
7.
|
Seal joints and seams with sealant.
|
8.
|
Apply anti-corrosion agent after painting. Use Terotex HV 400.
