Nut piece, rear subframe

Removing



1. Remove the carpeting to expose the floor.

2. Use a 35 mm hole saw to cut out a hole in the marking.

3. If necessary, remove the bolt from underneath.

4. Use a screwdriver to snap out the old nut piece from the holder. Use a pair of pliers or a piece of bent wire to lift out the nut piece.


Fitting



1. Fit a new nut piece without plastic holder.

2. Fit the bolt from underneath.

3. Apply anti-corrosive agent to the edge and fit a plug, part No. 43 33 498.

4. Remove all swarf, drillings and grinding dust from the floor, using a vacuum cleaner.
