Remove the front wing.

Drill holes into the spot-welds, grind off the welded joints and remove the radiator crossmember.

Align the radiator crossmember mountings if necessary.

Fitting |

Grind clean the surfaces to be welded on the spare part and on the body.

Drill holes for plug-welding in the spare part.
|
3. |
Apply welding primer to the surfaces that are to be spot-welded.
|

Place the radiator crossmember in position and fix it with some welding clamps. Close the bonnet and adjust the position of the spare part.

Weld on the radiator crossmember.
|
6. |
Remove any remaining welding primer. Welding primer reduces adhesion of paint, filler and sealant.

7. |
Apply primer to all bare metal surfaces.
|
8. |
Seal joints and seams with sealant.
|
