Rear doors

To remove


1. Open the front door so that the grommet for the rear door wiring harness in the B-pillar is accessible.

2. Remove the rubber grommet and unplug the connector.


3. Open the rear door.

4. Unscrew the door stop.

5. Unscrew the nut on the lower hinge mounting first.

6. Unscrew the nut from the upper hinge mounting while supporting the door.

7. Carefully lift off the door from the hinge mountings.


To fit



1. Lift the door onto the hinge mountings.

2. Screw on the nuts.

3. Check the fit between the rear door and the wing and tighten the nuts.

Note

To obtain the correct fit between the door and the wing, it may be necessary to slightly lift the rear of the door while tightening the nuts.


4. Screw on the door stop.

5. Plug in the connector and fit the rubber grommet.


Adjusting the rear door upwards, downwards, backwards and forwards



1. Unscrew the hinge mountings and adjust the door.


Adjusting the rear door inwards and outwards



1. Unscrew the hinge mounting nuts that are towards the front of the car.

2. Adjust the door.
