Fault diagnosis hints and tips
The electric window lifts can be operated when the ignition switch is in the Drive position (+54 circuit).
The window lifts are grounded at grounding point G24 via pin 8 of the switch.

Check that fuses 6 and 36 are intact and supplied with current.
|
|
2.
|
Check that current is supplied to motor 164.
|
|
3.
|
Check that switches 386 and 190 are in working order.
|
|
4.
|
Check that the sensors are giving reasonable values.
|
|
5.
|
Check the wiring harness, connectors and ground connections.
|
