Parking heater fails to start.
Condition
The parking heater has make at least 10 unsuccessful attempts to start.
Diagnostic help
Check whether any other diagnostic trouble codes have been generated.
Parking heater can be activated with Tech 2.
Parking heater function can be programmed in SID.
Eberspächer diagnostics instrument used for diagnosis.
Diagnostic procedure
1. Check diagnostic trouble codes

Ascertain which other diagnostic trouble codes have been generated.
|
|
•
|
Deal with the diagnostic trouble codes generated as described in the diagnostic procedure for each of them.
|
|

Activate parking heater (ON).
|
|
•
|
Clear the diagnostic trouble codes in all systems.
|
|
•
|
Perform a functionality check.
|
|
•
|
Evaluate the functionality check.
|
|
•
|
Check that the diagnostic trouble code has not recurred.
|
Test results OK?
|

Fault rectified successfully.
