Introduction
Introduction |
When repairing cars, it is necessary to use various chemicals when work has been done that has damaged seals, rust-proofing, etc.
It is important that the correct materials are used in order to ensure high quality of all repairs. The products are presented here in order to give a good overview of the product range and the list will be updated as new products are added and other products are discontinued.
When ordering products, type signal 16 is to be used unless specified otherwise. Parts without number are recommended and acquired locally. Most former Saab products are now integrated in GME's range of chemicals.
Most products included in this catalogue are garage-related products used for repair work but some expendables are also included.
Chemicals classed as spare parts can also be found in the parts catalogue (EPC). Products classed as shop goods, e.g. touching-up sticks and touching-up paint can be found in the accessories catalogue (EAC).
The following headings are used in the catalogue:
Specifications |
A short description is given of the product's characteristics.
Range of application |
A description is given as to what the primary application is for the material.
Packaging |
The number of items per package is given.
Transport |
Some of the products are classified as dangerous goods when in transport.
According to international regulations, these products must be transported in approved special packaging, and special markings and a warning label must be affixed on the package.
This means that indicated lead times may be affected and that costs for packaging and transporting increase.
