| Background |
The 13 mm hexagon polymer screw securing the fuel filler pipe to the body has been replaced with a new 6 mm hexagonal socket screw. This is to reduce the risk of the screw inadvertently being over-tightened.

| Procedure |
Always fit the new screw (1), part no. 49 40 896, when carrying out work where the fuel filler pipe must be removed/refitted or if the screw has been damaged.
Tightening torque 1.5 Nm (1.1 lbf ft)
