The coolant temperature gauge gives the driver information on engine coolant temperature.
The coolant temperature gauge is supplied with current and controlled from the main instrument unit.
Trionic continuously sends out coolant temperature information on the bus.
The main instrument unit controls the temperature display and, based on information from Trionic, it inserts breaks at certain temperatures to give a stable display at normal coolant temperatures.
The following breakpoints are programmed in the main instrument unit (factory setting):
