Remove the mobile phone aerial from the roof.
|
2.
|
Remove the front right speaker grille from the dashboard.
|
3.
|
Remove the A pillar trim (right/left-hand side) and C pillar trim (right/left-hand side).
|
4.
|
Remove the headlining (rest it on the head restraints).
|
5.
|
Remove the glove compartment (on RHD cars, remove the lower panel).
|
6.
|
Detach the aerial cable from the body (note the cable routing).
|
7.
|
Cut off the old aerial cable as close to the speaker as possible.
|

|
Mount the mobile phone aerial on to the roof.
|
2.
|
Attach the aerial cable to the body, routing it in the same way as the old cable.
|
3.
|
Run the aerial cable down between the speaker and the A pillar.
|
4.
|
Detach the carpet from the centre console (fold it down).
|
5.
|
Place the aerial cable under the carpet.
|
6.
|
Detach the telephone console and disconnect the old aerial cable.
|
7.
|
Connect the new aerial cable, refit the telephone console.
|
8.
|
Carry out a function check.
|
9.
|
Cut off the old aerial cable.
|
10.
|
Secure the cable to prevent rattling.
|
11.
|
Refit the carpet on to the centre console.
|
12.
|
Replace the glove compartment.
|
13.
|
Replace the headlining.
|
