Disarming the anti-theft alarm

Press the UNLOCK button to disarm the anti-theft alarm. When the button is pressed, the signal is acknowledged by the car's direction indicators flashing 2 times. The flash/sound acknowledgement for this function is programmable.

The car's anti-theft alarm is now disarmed and all the doors are unlocked with the central locking system. The boot lid/tailgate is still locked.

When the alarm has been disarmed, the LED will light up for 2 seconds, after which it will flash twice if the car is immobilized.

Important
|
|
The alarm cannot be armed/disarmed with the key. If a door is opened with the key when the alarm is armed, it will be set off.
|
|
This does not apply to cars for the US/CA/LA market which are programmed for the key function.
