Drive shaft seal, right-hand

Replacement in car


To remove


1. Remove the intermediate shaft. See Transmission - Drive shafts - Adjustment and replacement - Intermediate shaft.

2. Remove the seal using a large screwdriver.

Note

Take care not to scratch the drive shaft seal hole in the gearbox.



To fit



1. Tap in the new seal with drift 87 92 657.

2. Fit the intermediate shaft. See Transmission - Drive shafts - Adjustment and replacement - Intermediate shaft.
