Mixed-air temperature sensor, RH
Mixed-air temperature sensor, RH |
The mixed-air temperature sensor is of the NTC type and has a pointed sensor body that is inserted into the right-hand floor outlet. The sensor is supplied with 5 V from pin 18 via a 5.6 kOhm resistor integrated in the ACC unit and is grounded from pin 37. The voltage across the sensor is therefore inversely proportional to the temperature (the voltage drops when the temperature rises).
The value is used so that the control module can turn the air-mixing flap in question until the requested mixed-air temperature is achieved.
Diagnostics |
In the event of an open circuit or short circuit, diagnostic trouble code B2345 is set and 05 is displayed instead of right-hand temperature when calibrating.
The relative opening of the air-mixing flap in question multiplied by the coolant temperature is used as a default value.
