Temperature sensor





The NTC type temperature sensor is located between the evaporator cooling fins. It is connected to the DICE and measures the temperature electronically of the material in the evaporator.

Aided by the temperature sensor, the DICE controls the operation of the A/C compressor as follows:


• the compressor disengages at 0°C

• the compressor engages at +3°C


The temperature sensor is connected to the DICE as follows:

Pin 10 (DICE)

Input, temperature sensor (621) pin 1

Pin 30 (DICE)

Ground, temperature sensor (621) pin 2



Diagnostics

If diagnostic trouble code B2355 is generated in DICE for the temperature sensor, the A/C compressor stops/will not start.
