The parking heater applies B+ on pin 3 of the MCC unit when the coolant temperature by the parking heater outlet reaches 40°C. When the ignition is off, the following selections result:


• the air-mixing flap is set to 100% heat

• the air distribution flap is set to defrost and after 25 minutes to defrost/floor

• the recirculation flap is set to the position selected with the button

• the fan speed is set to match knob position 1, irrespective of the actual setting of the knob

• manual selections can be made with the temperature and air distribution knobs

• the fan speed can be set to 0 or 1 and air recirculation to on or off
