Cars already delivered must be rectified in connection with a scheduled visit to the garage for service or repairs.

Saab 9-5 Aero and V6, VIN Y300001 - Y3004500

Background

The Saab 9-5 Aero 4-cyl. manual and V6 automatic are missing three bolts and washer that should be located in the oil sump as illustrated. Cars must be rectified due to the possibility of increased movement between the engine and the gearbox.

Parts required

Bolt with washer 79 78 299 (x3)

Procedure


4 cyl: Fit the bolts as illustrated.

Tightening torque 47 Nm (35 lbf ft)

V6: Fit the bolts as illustrated.


Tightening torque 47 Nm (35 lbf ft)
