Conditions
The following conditions apply for this DTC:
•
|
Engine running and main relay voltage exceeds 11 V.
|
•
|
1000 ignitions have occurred since start.
|
•
|
Ignition timing and fuel injection have not been synchronized with the camshaft position.
|
Diagnostic help
Fault diagnosis concerns electrical faults in connecting cables, sooty or defective spark plugs, or in the ignition discharge module.

Camshaft position synchronized, ON/OFF.
|
•
|
Combustion Detection Cyl 1+2/Bank 1, in %
|
•
|
Combustion Detection Cyl 3+4/Bank 2, in %

Check the wiring
Note

Jiggle the leads and in-line connectors at various points and in different directions to detect any intermittent breaks or short circuits in the wiring. Observe the multimeter, test lamp or diagnostic tool while doing this.
