EVAP canister shut-off valve (vehicles without ORVR)

To remove


1. Raise the car.


2. Remove the right-hand front wheel.

3. Remove the wing liner from the wheel housing. Press in the plastic wing and fold it down to remove it.

4. Lower the close valve and unplug the connector.


5. Remove the clip and detach the connecting hose.


To fit



1. Connect the hose to the valve.

2. Lift up the valve into position.

3. Spray the connector with Kontakt 61 (part no. 30 21 763). Plug in the connector.

4. Fit the wing liner and tighten the screws.


5. Fit the wheel.

Tightening torque: 110 Nm (80 lbf ft)

Important

The wheels must be hanging freely when tightening the wheel bolts.


6. Lower the car.
