Raise the car and remove the wheels.

Press the brake piston back, using a pair of slip-joint pliers.

Remove the two brake caliper retaining bolts. Suspend the brake caliper from the suspension strut, using a cable tie.

4. |
Remove the brake disc's locking screws.

5. |
Lift off the brake disc.

To fit |

Wash the new brake disc and check that its surface in contact with the hub is free from rust, burs and the like.

When fitting the brake disc, check that the hub's surface in contact with it is not rusty or dirty.
Fit the brake disc on the hub, apply Loctite 242 to the locking screws of the brake disc and tighten them with a torque wrench. Tightening torque: 4 Nm (3 lbf ft) |

Fit the brake caliper, apply Loctite 242 to the bolts and tighten them.
Tightening torque 117 Nm (86 lbf ft). |

Tightening torques aluminium wheel 110 Nm (81 lbf ft) steel wheel 50 Nm +2x90°, max. 110 Nm (37 lbf ft +2x90°, max. 81 lbf ft)
Lower the car and depress the brake pedal to force out the brake pads. Check the level of the brake fluid. Drive the car on test and check the operation of the brakes. |
