Background

The functionality for SPS in TIS2000 has been changed from and including TIS2000 edition 2004-2.

Description

An ECU cannot be reprogrammed if the current software is already present. In the event of such a reprogramming attempt the message " M3318:The ECU contains already the newest software version. The reprogramming is impossible. " is displayed.

If SPS programming is requested during fault diagnosis and this message is displayed, continue with the next step in the fault diagnosis.
